Hi! my name is Francine and I am a Registered Nurse.
This is the story behind
Daily Nurse Love
A few words about my background
I have my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), and Public Health in Nursing certification (PHN), currently pursuing my Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
As a Registered Nurse, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including Home Care for Hospice and Palliative Care, hospital bedside nursing in Telemetry, Direct Observation Unit, Medical-Surgical units and have had the opportunity to float to the Cardiac ICU and Neuro ICU.
Daily Nurse Love for the love of nursing
I have a passion for working with my patients and families in their home setting. I believe that everyone is a nurse in their own capacity, and everyone is also a professional of their own bodies.
I want to be able to bridge the gap between patients and the nursing profession.
I want you to be knowledgeable in caring for yourself or loved ones and to be able to do so comfortably in your own home.
My goal is to provide tips on how to physically care for your yourself and loved ones in your own home, but also to teach you how to effectively communicate your questions and concerns to the health care providers.
I created my blog and website with the intention to spread awareness. I want to make it easier to access helpful tips and information for those caring for others in the home care setting and to help other fellow nurses care for patients at home and in any other setting.
